Monica Martins was born in Recife ,Pernambuco - Brazil. Graduated in literary  and art critic, at the University Federal of Pernambuco .She is specialist in digital art.

Started very young to do the drawing. In hers  teen time  she started painting on oil on canvas .She had made already around hundreds of paintings. The draws and the visual arts have always been the best way to mentaly  relax Monica.
During her academic life she had devoted entirely herself and with great pleasure the findings of the voices of poets, painters and sculptors. She wrote her thesis on the poetics of intertextuality poems of Rainer Maria Rilke and the sculptures of Auguste Rodin.

In collaboration with the journal Contemporary Art Eikon, Monica Martins start to work as art critic writing about Italy  in the  contemporary Italian artists envirement. Her critiques are very appreciated and currently beyond the criticism of art Aaso writes articles on poetry and poetic prose.
Despite the realization that her find writing articles. The longing of her homeland and great! Thus reminessencies Monica Martins find comfort in her memory, now does not make use of oil paint to make her works. Her current works are based on the design manual and subsequently are graphically elaborated.

The digital artist Monica Martins  had partecipated in numerous exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe and America. Her works has received awards very important in the "International Award for Photographic and Digital Art 2010" - the most important event in digital art and photography in Europe - Premio Internazionale Tokyo and Premio Cerio 2010 – in Capri Italy.
The work of Monica Martins can be printed on canvas, aluminum and professional photography, the maximum of three reproductions numbered and signed by the artist.

The minimum size is 50x60 - 60x60 the maximum of 150x200, depending on the work.
