Monica Martins were invited and participated in the 2010 edition of the International Award and Exhibition for Digital and Photographic Art at the Museum of Art in Chianciano Terme.
The Chianciano Award was instituted to give digital and photographic artists the opportunity to gain visibility on the international scene. The artists displayed were those able to capture emotions, inspired by the reality around them, expressing their interpretation of life and communicating their philosophy of existence, using the digital revolution as their canvas.
This competitive exhibition is heralded as the most prestigious event of its kind in Europe. The award exhibition was judged by internationally renowned photographers and experts and was curated by specialists that have staged shows in museums such as the Victoria and Albert in London and the Leighton Museum in London.
